hyperGIS™ 3.0 SERVER

The hyperGIS™ SERVER enables organisations to publish and distribute geographic data for use in internet applications and presentations.
The lasest realease utilises OGC standards for geodata storage. Points and polygons can be made available as binary objects in a web browser or remote application scenario. This enables true online editing of spatial data.

For geodata providers the hyperGIS™ SERVER offers a controllable way to supply data as a web service.

The Server takes data in many forms and converts them to a database optimised for speed and low bandwidth.

The hyperGIS™ SERVER can run satisfactorily on relatively small servers, in situations with limited data and traffic. The recommendations below are for systems with large datasets and considerable traffic.

System Requirements

  • MS SQL or MySQL
  • .NET framework
  • MS IIS6.0

Recommendations

Processor:
We recommend Xeon 2,6GHz or equivalent processors.

Ram:
Depending on the amount of data to be served we recomend between 512Mb and 2Gb.
