Example 1

This example shows a typical hyperGIS web presentation using some of the basic features.

Take a minute to try out the zoom buttons. Click and drag in the window to pan.
Click on a "skole" (danish for school) to zoom directly to it.

nav explainedThe navigation in this case was produced by the customers own web designer to match the design of thier website. This is a feature of hyperGIS, no programming skills necessary. However programmers have access to rewrite and add features as they choose.

Zoom in and out
There are numerous ways to zoom in and out in hyperGIS. In this example the user holds down the  +  or - button and the map zooms until the button is released.

Zoom to Area
Select this tool, click and drag in the viewport to define an area.
When you release the mouse button the map zooms to show the area.

Home
Click to return to the initial view.

Address search
The text search features autocomplete using a list of the streets within the presentation. Try for example "Skovvej 11". If the address exists the map centers on the address.

Load indicator
This bar shows when data is being downloaded from the server.

Double-Click Zoom
A unique feature of hyperGIS is the ability to zoom to named objects, for example a country, town or even a road, simply by double-clicking on them.

Try it out with the map above. (Named objects are those that display thier name when the cursor rolls over them).
